In 2020, King’s Church Iver launched the “Love Your Neighbour” project to support people in the local community. We aim to provide long-term food boxes and other support to families and individuals who are struggling to provide for themselves. Working in partnership with the four local schools and social services, a team of volunteers have been packing and delivering food parcels and other essential items to families and members of the community every two weeks which include fresh fruit and vegetables, non-perishables, and more.

Love Your Neighbour has become a long term project of King's Church Iver, where we are able to offer support to anyone who may need it. If you or someone you know would benefit from this support please contact the team in the office.

We would appreciate donations of non-perishable food items or toiletries.  Our current wish-list is: Cereal, UHT milk, tea, coffee, pasta, rice, tuna, hot dogs, mayonnaise, ketchup, chopped tomatoes, porridge, jam, custard, rice pudding, squash, toilet roll, washing up liquid, toothpaste and other toiletries. These can be dropped off at the church building. Please contact the team to arrange drop off.

If you would like to get involved in volunteering to help with our Love Your Neighbour project, or to donate, please contact the team in the church office.
