]]> https://kingschurchiver.org:443/15/Want-To-Come-Along King's Kids kingschurchiver_37562 Wed, 01 Apr 2020 17:51:58 +0100 After a few worship songs in the village hall on a Sunday, the younger members of our congregation leave the adults and have a wonderful time at King’s Kids. 

We have four groups, catering to different ages, run by an amazing group of volunteers. 

Glow is our in-service creche located at the back of the village hall. This is a space for people to bring 0–2 year-olds to sit and play with their children whilst listening to the service.

  

Rise is for 3–6 year-olds,  volunteers take the children from the village hall to our main church building across the green. They have fun, playing games, doing crafts, listening to stories, and singing songs together. 

 

Shine is our 7-10’s group who share a space with our youth group, Ignite, in a room at the back of Iver Village Hall. Volunteers take the children to the room for hot chocolate, games, puzzles, and conversation.

Ignite is our youth group catering for 11–18 year-olds, sharing the room at the back of Iver Village Hall with Shine. They are treated to hot chocolate as they discuss topics, have a space to ask questions, and enjoy games.

  

 At midday, which is when the service ends, children are returned to their responsible adults.

At King’s Church Iver we are dedicated to ensuring the safety of all the children we encounter. All our volunteer children’s workers are DBS checked. We have regular meetings as a team to discuss how children’s work is going, share positive stories, talk about anything we could adapt/change and raise any concerns.

]]> https://kingschurchiver.org:443/299/Kings-Kids Sundays kingschurchiver_10141 Wed, 01 Apr 2020 17:49:38 +0100 On Sunday mornings we meet as a church family to worship, to learn, and to be changed by God's love. Our services are usually made up of worship (suitable for all ages) led by our band, followed by teaching and a time of responding to what God is saying through the Holy Spirit. We love to worship together at the start of the service and after some worship songs, the younger members of the congregation have a great time at our King's Kids groups.  Click here to find out more.

We also have regular family services where the children and youth are involved throughout having a fun time.

On Sundays we gather in Iver Village Hall at 10:15am for a 10:30am start. The services last roughly 90 minutes with more time to enjoy a chat afterwards.

Home groups are smaller communities of people who meet at each others homes. Home groups happen on different days during the week in the evening and during the day. They are led by established members of the church and are a great way to build relationships with others within the church family.
