There are many opportunities to get involved such as;  helping with our Sunday morning church; that is children's work, setting up for the service, making and serving tea and coffee, and worship.

We also have activities running  during the week where you could volunteer with us;  such as lending a hand with refreshments at our King's Place café on a Wednesday or at our parent and toddler group on a Tuesday. You could also volunteer to help with our Thursday Community Support food box project.

]]> https://kingschurchiver.org:443/256/Volunteer Love Your Neighbour kingschurchiver_11043 Fri, 05 Feb 2021 10:07:42 +0000 The Love Your Neighbour support scheme is run by King’s Church Iver.  We provide biweekly food boxes for a period of 12 weeks (6 food boxes). Once signed up to the scheme, food boxes are available, for collection only, between 2.00pm and 5.00 pm every other Thursday from the King’s Church Iver building. Food boxes include fresh fruit and vegetables, a bag of non-perishable items and other essential items. We also partner with Rescued and shared to reduce food waste. 

If you or someone you know would benefit from this support please contact the office. 

We accept donations and especially appreciate donations of non-perishable food items and toiletries.  

These can be dropped off at the church building. Please contact the office to arrange drop off.

If you would like to get involved in volunteering to help with our Love Your Neighbour project, or to donate, please contact the team in the church office.

What is Alpha?

Alpha is an opportunity to explore life and the Christian faith in a friendly and informal
environment. Each session includes a light meal, a video and discussion time, where you
can share your thoughts.

There’s no pressure, no follow up and no charge.

On Wednesdays over 55's are invited to join us for tea, coffee, cake, chat, a quiz and prayer.
It is a great place to catch up with your friends or to make new ones.

It is a chance to relax, have a chat and enjoy refreshments. There are lots of games, toys and activities for the little ones. You can pop in for 20 minutes or stay for the whole session, we would love to see you and there is no need to book.

When: Tuesdays - 9:30am-11.15am -Term time only
