We’re so excited that we’re going to be able to gather “in person” on Sunday 2nd May for a service outside the Church building (in between the Village Hall), as Project Restore gathers momentum...once again. After nearly another 6 months of meeting virtually, this is going to be a time of celebration and worship. We will of course adhere to social distancing and have other safety measures in place.

Just like in September, we would kindly ask that you bring your own garden chair to sit on and as we won’t be serving refreshments, we’d encourage you to bring your own flask of tea or coffee and perhaps some biscuits too. We’ll have members of the team on hand to make sure all chairs are spaced out accordingly. On arrival your temperature will be taken as well as contact details for Track & Trace purposes.  Access to the church will be limited to the foyer only for the use of the toilet facilities. Sanitiser will be available. If you don't feel well or have symptoms of Covid-19, please stay at home.

An exciting difference to the last time we were able to gather in person is that under the new guidance for churches from the Government, we will all be able to sing during the worship! Depending on numbers, you may still be required to wear a mask. As we will not have the use of a screen for words  we will email and Whatsapp the words prior to the day for you to download to your tablets or mobile phones. So on this occasion along with your chairs please bring along your mobile phone etc.

Keith will be speaking during the service and the Elders will briefly explain what the next phase of Project Restore looks like as we enter the Summer and our phased return to meeting together as a church in the Village Hall (more details will be shared during the Church Meeting on 12th May). We wanted to reiterate that there is no pressure on returning to church if you do not feel comfortable just yet. With that in mind, we will continue to broadcast our services via Zoom and on Facebook, which we know works for different people.

Please note that this outdoor service is weather dependent, so if the forecast looks bleak we will let you know as soon as possible and revert to Zoom.

We do hope you’ll join us on Sunday 2nd May at 10.30am for this chance to come back together again...
