We acknowledge that all we have is a gift from God. Although He owes us nothing, He has given us all we have out of His generous heart and love for us, even His own Son.
We believe that, as Christians, our financial giving (as well as giving our time and skills) is part of our response in worship to God. We can be absolutely sure that our loving Father understands our needs and will provide for us. Therefore, we give willingly and cheerfully, as He has prospered us (2 Corinthians 9v6-11).
King’s Church Iver is entirely supported by this generous financial giving of the congregation. Donations are used to support the work of the Church in reaching the community, in supporting and training the church in Christian growth, for upkeep and costs of buildings and to support local, national and overseas organisations that are in alignment with the vision of the church.
There are a number of ways you can give financially to King’s Church:
- via the collection
- regular giving – via a standing order directly to the church bank account
- online donations
- Legacies – often people are in a position where they wish to give a lump sum to the Church or a designated cause
– bank transfer
Whichever way you give if you are a tax payer we would really encourage you to give via gift aid. This is very simple to do and enables the church to reclaim an additional 25 pence for every £1 that you give. There is no additional cost to you if you give under the gift aid scheme. A win win situation! Kings Church is a Registered Charity no.1151701 Download a King’s Church Gift Aid Form here.
